Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die an der Universität Rostock in den letzten Jahren erstellten räumlichen historischen Informationssysteme mit GIS-Funktionalität. In den historischen Informationssystemen müssen die Informationen sehr übersichtlich gezeigt werden, und ihre Struktur soll an die historischen Quelle angepasst werden. Vielfältige historische Informationssysteme wurden mit der Programmiersprache MapObjectsLT erarbeitet, wie z.B. „Rostock um 1600“, „Greifswald 1707/08“ und „Stralsund: Verbreitung der Pest 1710“. Weiterhin werden hier Methoden zur Publikation historischer Informationssysteme im Internet beschrieben, bei der SVG und JavaScript genutzt wurden, z. B. „Wolgast 1707/08“, „Schifffahrt und Seehandel Pernau 1764–1782“ und „Demographie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin 1819“. Bei diesen WebGIS-Anwendungen werden die Visualisierung von Daten (einschl. dynamischer Darstellungen) und die Abfragen clientseitig vorgenommen.

This contribution gives an overview of spatial historical information systems with GIS-functions, which have been created at the University Rostock during the last years. Historical information systems should convey their information very clearly and adapted to the specific structures of historical sources. Versatile historical information systems were implemented with the help of the programming language MapObjects, e. g. „Rostock about 1600“, „Greifswald 1707/08“, and “Stralsund: Outbreak of the plague 1710”. Furthermore, methods of serving historical information systems on the Web using SVG and JavaScript are presented, e. g. „Wolgast 1707/08“, “Navigation and naval trade Pernau 1764–1782”, and “Demography of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 1819”. The visualization of data (incl. dynamic presentations) and the information requests are carried out on the client side.
