Sen2Europe : ein einheitliches Bildmosaik Europas

Seit mehreren Jahren stellt das BKG deutschlandweite, jährliche Mosaike auf Basis von Sentinel-2-Daten nach dem Motto „open data to open products“ frei zur Verfügung. Räumliche Phänomene, wie Dürren, Waldbrände oder Überschwemmungen, machen an Staatsgrenzen jedoch nicht halt, sodass oftmals Informationen über nationale Grenzen hinweg benötigt werden. Aufbauend auf dieser Expertise entwickelte das BKG einen semiautomatischen Prozess, um ein einheiltiches Europamosaik („Sen2Europe“) zu erzeugen.
